The church is situated south of Peratallada, and right before arriving to the castle of Peralta, not far from the fountain in the stream of La Revetlla, is the church of Santa Susanna de Peralta. The church conserves its semicircular apse, with typical Romanesque decoration, and part of the original southern wall, both from the 11th C. In the north wall raises a tower, that wasn’t finished, with a simple belfry of two arcs above of it. The rest of the building belongs to a reform from the 18th C..
Santa Susanna de Peralta has never been an important temple. Documents from the 14th C. tell us its dependency of the parish church of Vulpellac not far away, used to serve the inhabitants of the several farm houses scattered around.
